From trainee to qualified stylist – and now welcoming her own clients at WOO Hair in Thorpe Bay!
We have some lovely news to share from behind the scenes at WOO Hair!
Our fabulous Grace has reached an exciting milestone in her hairdressing career, having successfully completed her Level 1 hairdressing qualification. We couldn't be prouder of her!
And there's even more good news. Grace is now welcoming her own clients, with a brand-new range of Complete Hair Packages, making it a fantastic time to book an appointment with her.
From Hairdressing Trainee to Level 1 Stylist
Grace first joined the WOO Hair family in August 2024, beginning her hairdressing journey with plenty of enthusiasm and a real passion for learning.
Since then, we've watched her confidence, creativity and technical skills grow.
Throughout her training, Grace has developed a fantastic range of hairdressing skills, from hair colouring techniques including highlights, toners and tints to precision cutting, covering short and long graduation, one-length cuts and layering.
She has also gained valuable experience in professional blow-dries, setting and dressing hair, as well as perming and styling techniques. While Grace enjoys all aspects of hairdressing, it’s hair colour that has really captured her imagination, and she’s excited to continue developing her creativity, confidence and expertise in this area.
From creating beautiful highlights to understanding how different tones work together, she's discovered a genuine passion for colour and is excited to continue developing her expertise.
A Bright Future in Hair Colour
Qualifying is a wonderful achievement, but Grace certainly isn't stopping here!
Her next goal is to progress to Level 3 at college, where she hopes to further develop her cutting techniques, expand her technical knowledge and continue building her confidence behind the chair.
Looking further ahead, Grace has ambitions to become a specialist hair colourist, completing advanced professional colour courses and eventually working towards master-level colour expertise.
At WOO Hair, we believe in supporting the next generation of talented hairdressers through education, encouragement and hands-on salon experience.
Seeing Grace develop from a new trainee into a qualified stylist ready to welcome her own clients has been incredibly rewarding for the whole team.
