I am now an ambassador for Goldwell and a member of their fantastic artistic team. I regularly teach courses and take parts in shows and seminars with them all over the country.
My experiences include working in top salons and traveling the world. I have also worked with some top names such as Vivenne Westwood and Matthew Williamson.
I was fortunate to work on a five star cruise line which enabled me to be able to handle many different cultures and hair types. I also worked in a salon in Israel before coming home to England enabling me to bring my huge knowledge and expertise to my clients.
Change is a very important factor in anyone’s life and we like to encourage this with our customer’s styles. I specialise in all fields of hairdressing including wedding hair up and colour techniques and I am also qualified in all aspects of beauty therapy. I have recently expanded my skills by completeing and graduating from a fantastic specialised makeup course with the freelance academy of makeup, I am now available for specialised makeup for evenings or weddings and amazing mastercalsses.
I am a strong minded business woman and have successfully built a strong business ethos and have won many acolades both local and within the hairdressing industry.
I am a partner/director with Sam and enjoy being involved in everything at Woo.
I enjoy having my dogs Bertie and Olive at work with me they are loved by all the clients here at Woo.
I then became NVQ qualified at 18 and wanted to further my career by changing salons and gaining more experience, this is when I found Woo Hair and Beauty. Since being at Woo I have been on the Schwarzkopf Artistic team in my first year, again traveling all over England on shoots, seminars and stages! We quickly went on to win Salon Team of the Year 2005 which I was a part of on stage. Over the years I have never stopped wanting to do more and have assisted with Ascot fashion show, British Hairdresser of the Year awards, London Fashion week, salon international stage work and much more, the list goes on!
Over the 8 Years of being at Woo I have loved every minute of making my clients look fabulous, working with the best team of people I have ever met and getting to do so much in the hair dressing industry, couldn’t ask for a better salon to be in!
Look forward to seeing you in my chair so I can make you look and feel great like I have for so many others!
I have been hairdressing since the age of 16, I’m fast approaching my 20 year anniversary in this fantastic industry which is like no other .
I’ve been part of the team here at Woo since our first Christmas back in 2005!
My career has been filled with amazing in-salon and out of salon experiences.
I’ve been honoured to train some of the most creative assistants that have gone on to be stylists while teaching here at the salon. I feel like training feeds the mind and keeps a fresh outlook on current and upcoming trends.
I’ve loved every minute of Fashion shows and Magazine work, they tend to be an opportunity to let you think “out of the box” . I’ve participated as part of our Creative team working on events such asLondon fashion week.
As a Senior Stylist I’m always looking for ways to keep me enthusiastic so colour, cutting and styling seminars become a welcomed way of life .L’oreal, Schwarzkopf and Goldwell are to name but a few over the years.
Out of salon work is also something we do regularly here at Woo. Wedding hair for both the Bridal and Grooms party have played a part in my career . And it’s always a pleasure to be part of such a big day .
I trained as a Great Lengths hair extension specialist as I feel the quality of hair is second to none . So much can be achieved with the correct application methods , from length to colour or volume. I love the immediate transformation process .
During my time here at Woo I’ve had many opportunities and experiences given to me by Sam.
To teach a great team of trainees, to manage an amazing team of staff , to attend seminars held by some of the best in our industry . But most of all to take time to start a family.
I have over 8 years taken time to start a family, get married and build a home.
So now I work at the salon as a Senior stylist on a part time basis, but I’m still very much involved as we are like family here.
You can find me in the shop a few days a week , doing what I do best making people feel and look their best from the moment they walk in til the moment they come back again !
I look forward to seeing you guys very soon
